German Intensive Courses
Our current timetables include:
Morning lessons: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 12:30
Afternoon lessons: Monday to Friday 14:00 to 17:30.
2 hours each day from Monday to Friday
4 hours three days a week.

Intensive A1 (A1.1 – A1.2)
The A1.1 and A1.2 intensive courses offer learners an opportunity to acquire basic vocabulary, master everyday expressions, and be able to produce and understand simple sentences.
Registered students will attend the course for four teaching units each day (from Monday to Friday) over a period of four to five weeks (for each sub-level). All four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) will be trained and developed. At the MIS Language Academy & Pre-U we value the art of communication and the command of pragmatic and conversational situations. Enthusiastic engagement with foreign languages and the joy of learning are the inner drive and the core principles of our academy.
In order to ensure rapid learning progress, each group is limited to 10 participants.
Target group
This intensive course is aimed at learners who have no previous knowledge of German.
Requirement
Knowledge of the Latin alphabet.
Learning objectives
The learning objectives apply to the entire A1 level (which consists of A1.1 / A1.2) and are based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
At the end of the A1 level
– Learners can communicate in a simple and effective manner and produce sentences that are specific to their immediate surroundings. Furthermore, they will be able to relate, understand and converse about hobbies and other quotidian routines.
– Learners will achieve the mastery of the three tenses: present tense, perfect tense, and future tense.

Intensive A2 ( A2.1 – A2.2)
The intensive A2.1 and A2.2 intensive courses offer learners an opportunity to expand their existing vocabulary, to understand and employ frequently used expressions in a broader context and to acquire new syntactic structures. The completion of this course will equip learners with confidence and efficiency to communicate in varied daily circumstances.
Registered students will attend the course for four teaching units each day (from Monday to Friday) over a period of four to five weeks (for each sub-level). All four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) will be trained and developed. At the MIS Language Academy & Pre-U we value the art of communication and the command of pragmatic and conversational situations. Learning objectives
The learning objectives apply to the entire A2 level (which consists of A2.1 / A2.2) and are based on
the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
At the end of the A2 level, learners will
– see an enrichment of their basic vocabulary
– understand and employ frequently used expressions with ease
– communicate in a simple and effective manner
– familiarize themselves with the subordinate clause structure

Intensive B1 (B1.1 – B1.2)
The B1.1 and B1.2 intensive courses offer learners an opportunity to increase their existing vocabulary, improve their grammar, and apply the knowledge they have acquired from speaking/listening and in writing to discuss and talk about familiar subjects.
Registered students will attend the course for four teaching units each day (from Monday to Friday) over a period of four to five weeks (for each sub-level). All four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) will be challenged and sharpened. Learning Objectives
The learning objectives apply to the whole B1 level (which consists of B1.1 / B1.2) and are based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
At the end of this level, learners will
– further expand their vocabulary
– be able to understand quotidian conversations, provided that clear standard language is spoken
– be able to express themselves simply and coherently on familiar topics
– master the “Präteritum” for the most important verbs used in daily contexts

Intensive B2 ( B2.1 – B2.2)
The B2.1 and B2.2 intensive courses offer learners an opportunity to enrich their vocabulary, build on their advanced grammar knowledge as well as sentence structures, and take everything they learn to the next level. The mastery of the B2 level will enable learners to express themselves correctly and to understand and write longer texts and communicate with confidence and at greater length with ease.
Registered students will attend the course for four teaching units each day (from Monday to Friday) over a period of four to five weeks (for each sub-level). All four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) will be sharpened and brought to perfection. At the MIS Language Academy & Pre-U we value the art of communication and the command of pragmatic and conversational situations. At the end of the B2 level, learners can
– communicate and express their opinion spontaneously and fluently
– create a clear and detailed presentation of many topics in their fields of interest.
– understand longer speeches and lectures

Intensive C1 (C1.1 – C1.2)
The C1.1 and C1.2 intensive courses offer learner an opportunity to perfect their German fluency. They will be able to close any grammar gaps, expand their vocabulary and learn to express themselves adequately (both orally and in writing) in all situations.
Registered students will attend the course for four teaching units each day (from Monday to Friday) over a period of four to five weeks (for each sub-level). All four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) will be sharpened and brought to perfection. At the MIS Language Academy & Pre-U we value the art of communication and the command of pragmatic and conversational situations. Enthusiastic engagement with foreign languages and the joy of learning are the inner drive and the core principles of our academy.

Learning Objectives
The learning objectives apply to the whole C1 level (which consists of C1.1 / C1.2) and are based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
At the end of the C1 level, learners can
– communicate spontaneously and fluently without searching for words
– understand technical articles
– follow longer and elaborated speeches, even if they are not clearly structured
– write texts on complex subjects, using a style appropriate to the target audience

4-5 weeks for each sub-level (4 teaching units each day from Monday to Friday)
Intensive C2 (C2.1 – C2.2)
The C2.1 and C2.2 intensive courses offer learners an opportunity to perfect their German to a level that is close to that of a native speaker. They will achieve mastery in terms of grammar, cultivate their vocabulary, and learn to express themselves with confidence, precision, and charisma in any given situation (written as well as oral).
Registered students will attend the course for four teaching units twice a week and for two hours each time over a period of four weeks (for each sub-level). All four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) will be sharpened and brought to perfection. At the MIS Language Academy & Pre-U we value the art of communication and the command of pragmatic and conversational situations. Enthusiastic engagement with foreign languages and the joy of learning are the inner drive and the core principles of our academy.
In order to ensure rapid learning progress, each group is limited to 10 participants.

Requirement
Completion of C1 level
Learners are welcome to take an online test to determine their level or have their level assessed at our office.
Learning Objectives
The learning objectives apply to the whole C2 level (which consists of C2.1 / C2.2) and are based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
At the end of the C2 level, learners will be able to
- communicate spontaneously and fluently – almost like native speakers
- skillfully incorporate idioms into conversations and texts
- write and understand longer and complex texts without hindrance

Duration
4 weeks for each sub-level (twice a week and two teaching units each)
